39th Lesson
When a fox guards the henhouse. There are going to be numerous examples of this happening, but I wish to use Ukraine as the subject for this story.
Until the revolution that occurred in 2014, Ukraine was considered to be more pro-Russian than an independent State free of external influences. But a minority (albeit a significant one) of rabble
rousers set out to create disharmony in this country. This eventually resulted in something that came to be known as the 'Revolution of Dignity', but it was anything but this. 'Indignity' would be a far
better description as the protestors were primarily backed by the Americans. But this is not the first time in history that America has seen an opportunity to cause trouble in Europe (both East and West).
In this respect, you can pick and choose which of the violent and destructive rebellions that have taken place in recent decades that have caused governments to fall, and for nations to be divided.
And along with the Americans, you will also find NATO, and the West in general, giving a 'helping hand' to achieve the ambitions of those who wish to serve primarily their own interests.
So where do the chickens and foxes come into this equation? The trouble that occurred in Ukraine was an example of the fox inciting a few of the chickens to rebel. And to make sure this was going to
be a success, the fox inserted some of it's cubs into the henhouse to continually encourage the rebellious chickens. So it came to pass that the henhouse now was under the control of the fox. He could use
it's inhabitants to succeed with his own agenda - by encouraging the chickens in this henhouse to provoke the much bigger one next door (Russia). This was an easy task for the rebellious chickens as
those who refused to surrender to the new regime continue to fight back. So by continually attacking them, chickens from the neighbouring henhouse decided enough was enough. They felt compelled to send
their own legion of chickens to support those being oppressed and attacked in the smaller henhouse. The fox was delighted. Now he could use the rebellious chickens to cause more widespread mayhem, and wait
patiently until the chickens from the larger henhouse came flooding in - so he had an opportunity to attack it as well.
How this story ends remains to be seen. But the fox wants war. He wants to feed off the carnage that will ensue. If only the rebellious chickens knew they were being used, then there would possibly
never have been so much trouble.
40th Lesson
Drug cartels. But who is the real threat? More to follow. It's the usual story of 'supply and demand'. A nation that says it embraces democracy also creates a society where anything goes. People will
turn to drug use and abuse when they cannot cope with the environment in which they live. The reasons for this are numerous, but it will always be the weakest who will fall prey to the curse of drug
addiction when they see no prospect of a normal life. It's a form of escapism, a form of relief.
There also the foolhardy who see drug use as some from of recreation. Unlike the former, a short sharp shock can possibly help them redeem themselves and see the error of their way. But when you are weak
and pathetic, and feel life has nothing to offer you but ongoing misery, then drugs are one of the ill-conceived answers to this state of mind.
The big question is this: how much has the State contributed to the condition where some people feel their lives really are worthless? It will not be to blame in some cases, but definitely will give the
opportunity for the weakest to seek some form of escapism. And does the State really care about the hardest drug addicts? It see them as being a challenge that cannot be defeated. So it reluctantly accepts
that they will always be there.
This is where the drug cartels come in. They see a demand for this type of lifestyle and they help provide the materials to sustain it. And it matters not who provides the drugs, someone, somewhere, will
always see drug peddling as an opportunity to fill in any void that exists. By this realisation alone, you can never resolve the issue of drug use. And in a 'free society', you cannot even force a drug user
to attempt rehabilitation if the desire is not there to either start it, or complete it.
The 'system' is not perfect. It is full of holes which people can fall though and be considered lost forever. Look at the homeless people who have nothing but a few meagre possessions who have lost their
jobs, their homes, etc. They have resigned themselves to spiralling levels of degeneracy to the point have lost sight of what it is like to live like a regular human being.
This is life, it can be a real 'bitch' at times, and the drug cartels know this. So they are only part of the story, not all of it. Create a fair and equitable society with true justice, fairness for all,
opportunity, decent living standards, etc. You get the idea. Then you can defeat the issue of drug abuse at source, and not just blame the drug cartels for exploiting what they also see as an opportunity
to enrich themselves. And before I close, I would also add that drug cartels are not the only form of exploitation. Many commercial, industrial, and medical institutions also exploit their 'customers' in a
similar way. They do this by contaminating, poisoning and abusing the trust of those who use their products. In this sense, they are worse then drug cartels because they use deception to sell their ideology
to the greater masses. They do this by bribing politicians, by broadcasting and publishing misleading claims and advertisements, deliberate concealment of their environmental crimes, etc. Solve the challenge
of drug abuse by starting at the top, and not the bottom. In this way, many of the issues that plague our society will resolve themselves.
